CAD is plaque buildup in the arteries that move oxygen-rich blood through the heart and lungs.

 Symptoms of CAD include:

• chest pain or discomfort
• a feeling of pressure or squeezing in the chest
• shortness of breath
• nausea
• feelings of indigestion or  gas
